The glass fronted Entrance Foyer on Dundee Street will lead into the reception and that offers views to levels above. 

A spacious Retail Area will offer a wide range of unique and handmade products.

The double height 73sqm Gallery will house a year-round programme of world-class exhibitions, events and activities. While a second gallery, located on the mezzanine, with a focus on showing work by local and emerging artists.

For the first time Edinburgh Printmakers’ extensive Print Archive, built up over the last 45 years, will be made accessible to the public.  

Housed in a glasshouse extension, overlooking the external courtyard the Deli/Wine Bar will be the place to meet and eat. Serving locally sourced seasonal food, the deli/wine bar will spill out into the courtyard in the summer months.  

The Courtyard will be a vibrant outdoor space for festivals, screenings and events. 

A dedicated space for Learning will offer access and learning opportunities for visitors, community groups, school groups and life-long learners to work independently of the open access studio. 

Twenty Creative Enterprise Studios across two floors will be available for creative entrepreneurs and start-ups, with access to meeting spaces and a communal break out space. Integral to the overall future plan of Edinburgh Printmakers is the offer of business development support to encourage successful creative businesses. 

An Artist's Flat will be available to service cultural and international residencies, with the opportunity for anyone to rent for a unique break. 

The Printmakers Studio on the first floor will occupy 468 sqm of naturally top lit space. The impressive open plan studio will provide facilities in etching, screenprint, lithography, relief print and digital, as well as being able to access 3D printers and laser cutters.
